Nobi Public House in Webster is a casual yet lively spot where Asian fusion meets gastropub vibes. It’s a place that comfortably balances a neighborhood hangout with a destination for adventurous diners looking to mix classic pub fare with Vietnamese-inspired flavors. The atmosphere tends to be laidback but energetic, making it well-suited for both relaxed dinners and social outings with friends.

The menu offers an interesting variety of shared plates and heartier dishes, with standout options like pork fries topped with tangy pickled vegetables, richly flavored garlic wings, and fresh spring rolls that work well as starters or light bites. For those who come hungry, combination fried rice or the shaking beef served either over noodles or rice often draw repeat orders. The portions are generous enough that sharing several dishes can easily fill a table.

Drink-wise, the variety of on-tap beers, including seasonal and rare brews, appeals to craft beer enthusiasts—especially during special events or anniversary celebrations when the selection expands. This focus on beer complements the food’s bold flavors and adds to the pub-like feel.

Service tends to be friendly and helpful, with staff offering honest recommendations when you ask about unfamiliar menu items. While the place has a comfortable casualness, occasional small service hiccups, like needing to request refills, don’t seem to detract from the overall experience.

  • Best for: Groups of friends or families looking for approachable but flavorful Asian fusion dishes paired with a sizeable beer list.
  • Who will enjoy it: Locals who appreciate a welcoming vibe, solid portions, and variety — especially those who enjoy mixing pub food with Vietnamese flavors.
  • Best time to visit: Weekends, especially during special brewery events or when you want to try unique beers alongside dishes like the Nobi Dog or root beer for the folks avoiding alcohol.
  • Atmosphere: Casual and slightly lively, with a neighborhood feel but enough energy to make it more than a typical dining spot. The space encourages relaxed meals but is also good for lingering over drinks.

We used to frequent Nobi before we moved out of town. We came back this weekend to be there for the 13th Nobi Anniversary. This is the time of year when they have an incredible selection of rare and hard to get brews. This year was no exception, it seems like they get better every year. The food is great my personal favorite is the chicken nachos or Pho which is only served on Sunday. I am glad we were able to make it of the this years anniversary and hope to be back for next years anniversary.

Stopped in this place on a whim. Glad we did! Food was great! Service was pretty good. Had to ask for refills, plates, spoons etc. our waiter did give us his honest review on some of the food options we had questions on and i really appreciated that. I had the shaking beef with noodles, fantastic will eat again. My husband has shaking beef with fried rice, he said was ok. My 6&4 year old each got wonton soup and split garlic wings. Theirs was fantastic as well. Very pleased with this place.

This is such a hidden gem. There is not a bad thing on their menu. I get the combination rice and spring rolls every time. The portions are overall very generous and will fill you up. They have tons of beets on tap if that’s what you’re into. Not to mention they love supporting small or local businesses.

Been here a few times and omg the food is fabulous! The won ton soup is the best I have ever eaten. Our waiter was great very attentive and friendly. I wish I liked beer because there are so many choices. One little thing that management might want to address....one of the employees was leaning her butt against the counter where the plates and to go boxes are looking at her phone pretty much the entire time.

If you're looking for one of the best food spots in the Houston area, NOBI Public House in Webster is a standout that delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. This laid-back yet lively gastropub brings together Vietnamese-inspired dishes with classic pub fare in a way that feels both creative and genuinely satisfying. From the crispy, buttery garlic wings to the pork fries topped with pickled vegetables and herbs, every dish is packed with bold, memorable flavors. Other favorites include the shaking beef, fresh spring rolls, and the rich, flavorful Bi’s Red Curry. Even dessert doesn’t miss — their bittersweet sundae with a craft beer twist is the perfect way to wrap up a meal. Beyond the food, NOBI also offers one of the best craft beer selections in the region. With 40–60 rotating taps, including rare and local brews, there's always something new to try. The knowledgeable staff is great at helping you navigate the options, whether you're a beer enthusiast or just curious. The ambiance is casual but cool — think neighborhood hangout with a foodie edge — and while it can get busy during peak times, the vibe stays fun and welcoming. Parking and crowds can be a challenge during rush hours, and the open layout means it can get loud. But these are small trade-offs for a place that consistently nails great food, generous portions, and a drink menu that rivals any in the city. Whether you're coming for dinner, brunch, or just drinks and appetizers, NOBI Public House truly earns its reputation as one of the best culinary gems in the Houston area.

We love coming here. Consistent with great food and drink options. Do wish they had cocktails on the menu, but doesn’t stop me from visiting!

Was pleasantly surprised with the food. My wife ordered the curry with chicken and I had the shaken beef for entrees. Both were flavorful and with large portions for the price. Only complaint was the beef was slightly over-cooked. As an appetizer, we had the garlic butter chicken wings. Came out crispy and delicious. There was a huge selection of beers and our server provided samples and recommendations. Will be repeat customers.
